<H5 align="center">GORE-TEX Upper </H5>
<p>To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; it supplies a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. With lightweight flexibility, the upper allows you to move freely over the trail with superior comfort whilst still remaining durable for added protection on uneven terrain. The updated upper offers an even more optimised and comfortable foothold. Finishing the upper is a traditional lacing system that helps to lock down the midfoot to prevent in-shoe slippage for a distraction-free run. </p>

<p>Lightweight and responsive, the midsole of the Sense Ride 5 is constructed with Energy Foam designed to deliver long-lasting cushioning and outstanding bouncy energy return. With highly durable Energy Foam in the midsole, the Sense Ride 5 has a softer feeling than the previous version, with just the right amount of cushioning and response. The midsole provides a cushioned feel which is responsive to your every step enabling a higher energy transfer; for reduced fatigue as you run. </p>

<p>Crafted with All-Terrain Contagrip, the outsole perfectly balances geometry with rubber to deliver confident running on a wide range of surfaces. The Contagrip provides outstanding traction on wet, dry, hard, and loose surfaces giving you stability whilst on the trail. The full rubber outsole provides premium traction on loose terrain ensuring a solid bond between you and the ground. The Contagrip outsole is built for the widest variety of surfaces; it ensures confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces whilst still offering long-term durability so you can go further for longer with complete confidence in your footwear. As well as this, the outsole also features multi-directional lugs which dig deep into the ground when braking or changing direction. The deep lugs are able to anchor the foot into wet and muddy ground, securing you into place whilst also forming a solid base to push off from. The new, more durable All-Terrain Contagrip on the outsole is trustworthy on a wide variety of surfaces, making the Salomon Sense Ride 5 the perfect long-lasting running companion for any trail. </p>
