Salomon Pulsar Trail Pro 2 Women's Trail Running Shoes

The Pulsar Trail Pro 2 is quick, nimble and packed with Salomon's most responsive tech to propel you forward and keep transitions smooth however long the run. Energy Blade built into the springy midsole activates propulsion and drive, while Energy Foam gives your run extra pop and response. The anti-debris collar holds you while keeping out trail rubble.

Welded Mesh Upper

Just like the first version, the Pulsar Trail Pro 2 has a welded mesh upper. The advanced upper is almost weightless, keeping you free to move at a faster pace. The sock-like fit and breathable mesh is reinforced by synthetic overlays to cradle your foot like a glove for ultimate comfort. The EVA sock liner offers excellent cushioning and comfort instantly with stitch-free construction reducing the risk of irritation from rubbing and chafing. The tight mesh prevents debris from being trapped between your foot and the footbed ensuring added comfort as you run. An anti-debris collar further prevents dirt and debris from entering the shoe. This soft collar also helps to improve comfort and creates a more ergonomic feel. The shoe is easy to put on and take off with the minimalistic and strong Quicklace for one-pull tightening.

Energy Midsole

Teamed with the lightweight upper, Salomon's lightest-ever midsole makes sure the shoes do not weigh you down on your trail runs. The Energy midsole is constructed from a responsive foam created by a combination of EVA and Olefin (OBC) to deliver long-lasting cushion and bouncy energy return. Combined with the energy midsole, Salomon has added an Energy Blade, which is a light TPU plate that sits in the centre of the midsole. The joined efforts of the blade, midsole foam and sole geometry activate forward propulsion and ensure stability on trails.

Contagrip MA Outsole

Finishing the Salomon Pulsar Trail Pro 2 Shoes, is the Contagrip Outsole. The outsole is built for the widest variety of surfaces. It balances both the geometry and the rubber compound to deliver confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces, offering long-term durability. With optimised lug geometry the shoes will ensure that you will stay steady preventing you from slipping on uneven surfaces. This combination will keep you safe even on those fast and gnarly rides.
