GORE-TEX Upper

Ripstop mesh uppers will encase each foot in durable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the boots, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, so sweat is kept to a minimum, and you are kept cool and comfy. TPU overlays swathe the foot to improve support plus durability, resisting the traumas of rough ground and coarse wilderness, while an external heel cup and rock prevention plate reinforce the Terrex Swift R3's trail-worthy state by defending feet against roots, rocks, and other general hazards. The boots have a traditional lace-up closure, to provide a locked-in secure fit, and work to prevent in-shoe slippage from occurring.

EVA Midsole

A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft, and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. An integrated moulded sockliner hugs the foot for snug and secure comfort with every step; providing longer-lasting comfort whilst on the trail. A midfoot support structure works to increase the torsional rigidity of the boot, preventing twisting and reducing the risk of injury by creating a stable platform for you to tackle tricky terrain on.

Continetnal Rubber Outsole

Developed using a Continental Rubber outsole, the Terrex Swift R3 GORE-TEX Walking Boots ensure extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental Rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. The outsole is designed to be just as durable as the midsole, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned, and grippy walking boot. Thick lugs adorn the outsole to provide aggressive, multi-directional grip across every ground; so you don't have to look down as you tackle awkward ascents and daring descents. Cut-outs reduce weight while enhancing flexibility.
